In another major addition to the NLX team, we’re delighted to announce the appointment of Ellie Ransom as Director of Business Operations.

Ellie, who holds advanced math and information science degrees from North Carolina State University, Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and Pratt Institute’s School of Information in New York, joins after three years at a market-leading online event marketing platform, Splash, where she led in roles as diverse as Solutions Consultant and Information Security Manager.

Describing herself as “a challenge seeker, excessively organized, lifelong learner, and mindfulness enthusiast”, Ellie’s primary goal in her new role is to scale the internal organization and leverage her deep love of math and analytics to take NLX to the next level.

“As someone who thinks about how the steps we take now impact the future,” says Ellie, “I am truly excited about laying the operational foundations that marries what we need right now with what we will become.”

A former librarian and a certified yoga instructor, Ellie lists her hobbies and interests as reading, skin care, yoga, and seeking adventure. She also spent a lot of time during quarantine learning how to cook and do nutritional planning.

Ellie reports to CEO Andrei Papancea, who says:

“Ellie brings to NLX a diverse work background and multiple skill sets gained from experiences driving initiatives in all types of companies and in various stages of growth. We are confident she will deliver thoughtful leadership along with her good humor to help shape the future of NLX operations and culture.”

She is the second of NLX’s new Director level hires. Further appointments will be announced shortly.
